Work. But for now, from home.

Many companies worldwide are being forced to switch to remote work. This work will most likely be conducted in messengers.

Remember: chats tend to accumulate clutter” – the latest important news, a funny picture from an interesting channel, or a new video from a favorite blogger, all of which can clutter the workspace.

Working from home is pleasant and comfortable, but the effectiveness of such work can disappoint even the most diligent worker.

How to work with a remote team?

We have our own answer to this question. We are Worksection, a Ukrainian company, and we create tools for teamwork. This is an online tool that helps organize work from home by structuring tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities.

Assign tasks to responsible individuals, set deadlines and priorities. The team will always know what is expected of them.

Worksection is a powerful Agile tool for planning tasks, both for a month ahead and for short sprints.

  • You can plan project tasks, assign a responsible person for each one, set deadlines and priorities, attach files, and provide a detailed task description.
  • The employee will always be aware of their tasks, when they need to be completed, and in what order. You get a comprehensive tool for remote team management.
Tip: Each task in Worksection can be set to repeat cyclically. For example, if you have monthly, similar tasks.
  • All correspondence is directly linked to the task, so it’s quick and easy to dive into the details of the task.
  • Under each task, you can leave a comment, attach a file, or create a checklist. Messages and attached files will be stored under the corresponding task. A set of stickers will help quickly respond to comments. For example, you can like” an employee’s comment to approve it.
All of this helps deal with the unique challenge of managing remote employees – when there is too much information, and some important task details get lost in the conversations.

  • At the end of the month, you can see all the work data: how many tasks were set and how many were completed.
The monthly report shows how many planned tasks were actually completed and where delays occurred. Reports can be filtered by people, projects, or both, for the selected period. You will understand how successfully each employee managed to organize their workspace at home.

Tip: Ensure that your tasks have assigned responsibilities, deadlines, and statuses (e.g., in progress, under review, approved, etc.). This way, everyone has a clear understanding of what needs to be done and what has already been completed.
