How to set estimated costs?

Estimated costs are the expected time and/or budget needed to complete a task. They are useful for planning and comparing with actual costs.

To set planned costs when creating a task, click "More"1 and select "Estimate"2. In the window that opens, enter estimated costs:

• by time3, and/or
• by costs4.

How it works

• Estimates help plan workload and budget before work begins.
• Estimates can be conveniently compared with actual costs.
