In ActiveCollab, tasks can only be viewed in three ways—list, board, and Gantt chart. Worksection provides much more flexibility and offers 9 ways to display data. These include a Gantt chart with dependencies, Kanban, calendar, a table with direct editing capabilities, as well as detailed views by people and days.
Project finances alongside tasks
Worksection integrates project work with financial accounting through a built-in timer, monetary budgets, hourly rates, and expense reports. In ActiveCollab, basic time tracking is available at every level, but budgets, internal rates, and profitability assessments are only available at the highest tariff level.

In Worksection, you get a flexible analytics system with dashboards, reports on projects, tasks, and teams, as well as export capabilities to Excel.
