Who receives notifications about task changes or comments?

Notifications about task events (comments and properties changes) are received by "task subscribers". So if you need someone to see updates and receive notifications, make sure they are added to the subscribers list.

When subscribers receive notifications

Subscribers receive notifications when events occur in a task, for example:

• comments are added or changed;
• status, assignee, labels, due dates, and other properties are changed.

Please note! Not every action necessarily sends a notification.

Events can be performed in "silent" mode — without sending notifications to subscribers:

• "Send quietly" comment — the comment is added to the task without notifying subscribers.

• Changes "without notifications" — when making changes (e.g., labels/status/assignee, etc.), you can disable notifications using the bell button1. If the bell is normal — the action will be performed with a notification. If it is crossed out — the action will be performed "without notification".

What else affects receiving notifications

• Even if an action is performed with a notification, a subscriber will only receive a message about the event types that are enabled in their personal notification settings.
